W&O requirements Norway

The specialist education in organisational psychology is provided by the Norwegian Psychological Association. The education consists of 5 years of supervised practice, 240 hours of supervision, 260 hours of courses and a specialist thesis. The supervisors have the responsibility to assess whether the psychologist has specialist competence. The handing in of descriptions of “consultant cycles” gives the psychologist an opportunity to demonstrate his/her expertise. The supervisor can use these descriptions to assess competence.
